The Flying Kestrel was previously stored in pieces, in a barn since 1965. The Kestrel Beer team decided to bring this car back to life to reflect its original beauty as well as adding a few extras, to ensure the car is bursting with character in true Kestrel style. See below for all the details.
The record attempts will be taking place at Elvington racecourse. The records are as follows:
‘Class D’ 2.5-litre engine
1 Km standing start (SS) 20.84 seconds @ 107.33mph.
1 Km flying start (FS) 13.04 seconds @ 171.54 mph.
